PRICING STRATEGY

 

I’m helping a client sell their home in Reseda.

While we were thinking the home would sell in the upper $700,000s, there were 3 competing homes in the area priced at $749,900 and not selling.

My client took my recommendation and decided to price their home at $724,900.

The goal was to set a price under those 3 competitors so we get as many eyeballs as possible on their homes, with the expectation of receiving multiple offers.

The strategy worked.

We received 12 offers, drove the price up a little higher than expected, and my client accepted an offer after 5 days at $800,000.
